Description

NGC7635 and M52, an open star cluster are close neighbors....at least for us on Earth. The Bubble Nebula is located at a distance of about 7100 LJ and can be found in the constellation Cassiopeia.  Close to the center, there is BD+602522, a massive star with about 45 sunmasses, which is responsible for the Ha, OIII and SII emission. The diameter of the bubble is about 7 LJ and its expansion speed about 28km/s.
